In addition to the famour Brigus Blueberry Festival, the historic town of Brigus offers three major theatre events each summer: "Steps Through Time," The Royal Shag Up Dinner Theatre," and "Live on the Lawn," as well as frequent heritage performances in St. George's Church. Town of Brigus - www.brigus.net Bay Roberts As the largest town on the Baccalieu Trail, Bay Roberts offers a number of events each summer, as well as having one of the most scenic town walking trails on the Avalon Peninsula. "A Time in Pigeon Inlet" celebrates the works of native son, Ted Russell, who wrote and performed the radio productions, "The Chronicles of Uncle Mose."Ted Russell's son, who is one of the province's best known musicans, and his family star in the production, along with the Pigeon Inlet players. The Victoria LOL #3 Museum and Playhouse features a play by David French, another native son. During the summer there is a "Holdin' Ground Festival" which culminates in "Klondyke Days."
